BriteShot has developed a groundbreaking new air filtration system in the era of COVID-19
The Briteshot AirAffair system uses cutting edge technology to purify & Sterilize the air from existing HVAC systems or act as a stand-alone unit in any given environment.
This air filtration system has been designed to use a combination of existing and scientifically backed technologies to effectively inactivate and filter contaminated airborne particulate matter.

HOW THE PROCESS WORKS:
Step 1:
The AirAffair first uses a pre-filter of a HEPA MERV 10 rating to capture large particulate matter before it enters the AirAffair inactivating devices.
Step 2:
Following the pre-filter, remaining particulate matter is drawn into a UVC germicidal chamber. Contaminated air that has passed through the pre-filter is then met with UV-C light of 254nm wavelength. At that wavelength, the emitted light is able to penetrate and kill the DNA of organisms that become viral in the human body. Air passing through this chamber can be irradiated and disinfected resulting with sanitized and healthy air.
Step 3:
To further mitigate and inactivate, a MERV 13 rated filter is installed to capture contaminated air particles as small as .03 microns. Studies have shown that HEPA MERV 13 rated filters are an effective way for indoor environments to combat virus transmission. New NYS requirements as of August 2020 state that indoor facilities must meet filtration system guidelines that are MERV 13 compliant.
Step 4:
The air flow through the AirAffair is maintained by a 2000 CFM exhaust fan pulling air through the unit. This fan will assist and solve the issue of back pressure of airflow in an integrated HVAC system when updating to fulfill new regulations. An alternative solution is the AirAffair can function fully as a stand-alone unit without needing to be placed in existing duct work. The Air Affair can recycle any ambient air from its surroundings.
Step 5:
The exhausted air from the fan then acts as an activator to a Photohydroionizer. This method produces bi-polar ionized hydro-peroxide molecules that are released into indoor environments for coagulation of contaminated airborne particles.
Step 6:
The bi-polar ionization process coupled with cold plasma attracts additional airborne contaminated pollutants to be coagulated. Cold plasma attaches to room temperature particulate matter and works to inactivate those molecules. Ultimately, this enhances the efficiency of the MERV 13 rated filtration system and exceeds the baseline requirements of reopening indoor environments as air continues to be recycled through the BriteShot AirAffair unit.
